Dominos Pizza – online and social media success
Flicking through Guardian.co.uk and spotted this story regarding Dominos’ success with online ordering…
63% growth in online orders to £128m and over £1m in orders through their iPhone app since it’s launch in Septemnber! Love it.
I must admit that this success doesn’t come as a huge surprise to me as for my last 2 forays into Pizza Heaven I have used the online ordering system…It is a fantastic system, easy to use, takes the hassle of describing bespoke orders to someone who is less interested than oneself away, and the pizza arrives just as quickly as it would if you’d made the standard call…Oh, and you can pay online so as soon as you hear the knock on the door you can run, grab the pizza and eat…this maybe saves 10-15 seconds but when you suffer from the ‘hunger anger’ that I do you’ll know this is worth it…Ok, I’m now sounding obsessive…
Check out the online system next time you fancy a Dominos, you won’t regret it.
